Pastor Jamie Evans started out in ministry as a College and Career Pastor at Central Assembly of God in Muskegon around 2000. Later, in 2004, he became the Pastor of Lakeside Assembly of God, also in Muskegon. After 5 years of ministry there, he was called to become the pastor of The Vine (then called Grant Assembly of God) in December of 2009.

He has a desire to connect people with the Living Word, Jesus, through Biblical preaching and teaching and through modeling a life of holiness and faithfulness to Christ.

Pastor Evans has a BA in Church Leadership from Northpoint Bible College Grand Rapids and a MA in Theology in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. He is married to the love of his life Tammy and together they have three children, Carson, Hayden, and Dalany.
